Job Title: Warehouse Worker - 1st Shift Job Description Join our dynamic and growing team as a picker and packer, where you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our new, state-of-the-art facility. This position offers the opportunity for career growth and development, with comprehensive training and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities + During the first 30 days, you will be responsible for picking, which involves grabbing pick tickets, locating the correct bins, counting, and verifying the accurate amount of products before bringing them to the packing department. + After 60 days, you will transition to packing duties, which include reverifying picked orders, packaging products, printing and attaching labels to boxes, and sending them to the shipping department. + By the 90-day mark, your responsibilities will expand to processing and receiving, which entails sending out packages to customers and receiving parts to be stored in the correct bins within the warehouse. + Undergo a 4-hour forklift training during your first week, and expect to operate the forklift for half of your workday once trained. Essential Skills + 6 months to 1 year of experience in picking and packing in a warehouse environment. + Proficiency in order picking, material handling, and the use of pallet jacks. + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Basic computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with RF scanners is a plus, although not currently in use. + Knowledge in supply chain management, inventory count, and buying experience is advantageous. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Janesville, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
