Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial operations and strategies of our company in Macomb County, Michigan. This dynamic leadership role requires a hands-on approach to managing financial planning, accounting, cash flow, and reporting while driving profitability and long-term growth. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will work closely with operations to ensure financial efficiency and sustainable development. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead the development and execution of strategic financial plans to support organizational goals. u2022 Oversee all accounting operations, including cost accounting, inventory management, and compliance with GAAP standards. u2022 Manage cash flow processes, including forecasting, analysis, and modeling, to ensure financial stability. u2022 Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. u2022 Direct month-end and year-end close processes to produce timely and reliable financial statements. u2022 Establish and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions and ensure compliance with lender requirements. u2022 Conduct performance analysis and capital planning to drive company growth and operational efficiency. u2022 Ensure compliance with sales tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory requirements. u2022 Collaborate with leadership to align financial strategies with overall business objectives. u2022 Provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational effectiveness. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus. u2022 Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles. u2022 Extensive experience in manufacturing, with a preference for capital equipment manufacturing. u2022 Strong expertise in cost accounting and inventory management. u2022 Proven success in managing disciplined month-end close processes. u2022 In-depth knowledge of sales tax, payroll tax, and regulatory compliance. u2022 Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong internal controls. u2022 Experience managing banking relationships and ensuring compliance with lender requirements.
