Description Emory University's Department of Pediatrics and Childrenu2019s Healthcare of Atlanta are seeking an outstanding Pediatric Pulmonary physician with expertise in Quality Improvement to join the Division of Pulmonary, Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, and Sleep as a clinician educator. The focus for this position will be teaching, clinical service, and quality improvement. Candidates will have the opportunity to join an expanding and dynamic faculty located in a new pediatric clinic building. In addition, the Division includes research faculty with a variety of expertise but with a focus on CF, asthma, and other airway diseases and the candidate will have ample opportunity to interact with these faculty. The Division runs a busy and diverse clinical service with outstanding faculty and a wide spectrum of clinical activities. Specific to this position, the Division has expertise in pulmonary hypertension, aerodigestive disorders, sleep medicine, pulmonary sickle cell disease, technology dependent children, severe asthma, and cystic fibrosis. These programs benefit from collaborations with the Rollins School of Public Health, the Georgia Institute of Technology, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Division has accredited fellowship programs in pediatric pulmonary, allergy/immunology, and sleep. Emoryu2019s Department of Pediatrics has a nationally recognized pediatric residency training program. Candidates with an interest in teaching, quality improvement, and long term clinical care of the complex pediatric pulmonary patient are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be board eligible or certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology. Additional Details Employment will be in the Emory + Children's Pediatric Institute.
