Description A reputable Morris County, NJ wealth management firm is currently hiring an Investment & Financial Planning Manager to support their Financial Planners with investment research, portfolio oversight, and financial plan creation & modeling. The Investment & Financial Planning Manager will compiling data and analytics for client discussions, evaluate potential investment and insurance solutions, and support tax planning efforts. Typical responsibilities will include conducing investment and insurance research, assessing model portfolios, supporting bulk trade execution, and navigating tax strategy. Prior experience will include analyzing annuities, life & disability coverage, long-term care products, and reviewing the work of junior staff. The ideal Investment & Financial Planning Manager will have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in financial services or wealth management, strong analytical skills especially in Excel, and possess a deep knowledge of investments, insurance, and tax. Either a CFP, CFA, or CPA is required, as well as impeccable communication skills. Any combination of CLU, ChFC, Series 6/7, Life & Health are desirable, but not required. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct comprehensive research on investment markets and products to identify optimal strategies. u2022 Manage and analyze investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with client objectives. u2022 Prepare financial plans and materials for client meetings, addressing complex financial scenarios. u2022 Collaborate on tax planning strategies. u2022 Perform insurance need analyses and document existing policies, including life insurance and annuities. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in finance, business, or a related field is required. u2022 A minimum of 5-7 years' of progressive and/or supervisory experience in the financial services industry is essential. u2022 Proficiency with financial planning software is mandatory. u2022 Deep knowledge of investments, insurance products, and tax planning is required. u2022 One of the following is required: CFP, CFA, or CPA. u2022 Additional credentials like ChFC or Series 6/7 licensing are advantageous. u2022 Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills are critical. u2022 Effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are necessary to excel in this role.
