CNC Machine Operator

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for our client, a key partner in the pharmaceutical sector, based in Easthampton, MA. This CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for loading raw materials and running parts. Ensure specific directions are followed in order to create an end product that meets the required specifications while adhering to quality standards. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022u2003Utilizes various types of manual, numerically controlled, and computerized machine shop equipment to perform machining operations on all types of materials including but not limited to ferrous and nonferrous metals, nonmetallic materials, and synthetic materials. u2022u2003Supervise machines as they run and make adjustments as needed. u2022u2003Uses a wide variety of precision measuring instruments; maintains accurate dimensional tolerances based upon blueprints. u2022u2003Operates a variety of machines including but not limited to lathes, screw machines, mills, and precision grinders to perform multiple machining operations and ensure the proper utilization of equipment and material. u2022u2003Use of hand tools, and/or the setup and operation of various machine tools. u2022u2003Checks each component for accuracy. u2022u2003Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of industry, machinery, and techniques. u2022u2003Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of all applicable safety regulations and considerations. u2022u2003Completes all necessary maintenance and cleaning of equipment and workspace as directed. u2022u2003Passivate components per SOP u2022u2003Provides all required reports and/or correspondence. u2022u2003Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Knowledge of proper use of measuring tools/gauges and cutting tools. Understanding of blueprints and routers. Excellent communication and basic math skills.
