About the Role As a CBRE Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment throughout assigned facilities, focusing on system reliability, safety, and operational continuity in highly regulated spaces. The position plays a key part in keeping critical scientific and production operations running smoothly by maintaining the infrastructure these environments depend on. This first shift, Mondayu2013Friday role supports a pharmaceutical client by ensuring reliable, compliant, and uninterrupted electrical services across research, laboratory, stability storage, and pilot plant environments. What Youu2019ll Do + Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment. + Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes. + Assure that equipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner. + Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules. + Operate electrical test equipmentu2014including volt/ohm meters, amp probes, power analyzers, and insulation testersu2014while following established testing procedures and accurately documenting all results. + Maintain and repair electrical and electronic controls on complex systems, including HVAC equipment, variable speed controllers, lighting systems, and process equipment. + Complete all regulatory training prior to conducting work. Perform all work activities utilizing the appropriate procedures to include GMP/GLP, organizations, department or local requirements. Perform all work utilizing the appropriate environmental regulations and policies. Complete appropriate documentation associated with maintenance activities. Manage individual ITP to ensure compliance. What Youu2019ll Need + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred. Master Electrician license required as dictated by local electrical codes. Valid Driver's license required. + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. + Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents. + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. + Advanced math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide. BONUS ELIGIBLE: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidateu2019s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Workplace Experience Manager position is $145k annually and the maximum salary for the Manager position is $170k annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidateu2019s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBREu2019s applicable benefit program.
