Forklift Operator & Material Handler - $17 an hour Eldridge, Iowa 3:00pm - 11:30pm (OT to be expected) Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator & Material Handler to join our team in a highu2011volume distribution center. In this role, you will build and prepare pallets of canned and dry goods for shipment to major grocery retailers. You will use a standu2011up forklift and a voiceu2011directed headset system to pick, pack, and palletize orders with accuracy and efficiency in a fastu2011paced production environment. Key Responsibilities + Build and palletize orders of canned and dry goods for outbound shipment. + Operate a standu2011up forklift to navigate warehouse locations safely and efficiently. + Follow voiceu2011guided headset instructions for order picking and packing. + Customize pallets based on specific client requirements. + Maintain productivity and accuracy in a highu2011speed warehouse setting. + Support general labor tasks as needed to keep workflow moving smoothly. Essential Skills & Qualifications + Minimum 6 months of forklift experience , specifically with standu2011up models. + Proven experience in order picking, packing, and palletizing . + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. + Comfortable performing physical labor and standing 8u201310 hours per day . + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Preferred Qualifications + Previous experience in a fastu2011paced distribution or warehouse environment . + Familiarity with voiceu2011directed picking systems is a plus.
