General Production Worker

Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will perform product assembly and production functions for custom doors. You will operate equipment such as clamps, presses, sanders, nail guns, hand and power tools, and a computer. Candidates should be able to read a tape measure and must consistently be able to lift 50 lbs. Steel-toed shoes are required for safety. Responsibilities + Perform assembly and production tasks for custom doors. + Operate clamps, presses, sanders, nail guns, and various hand and power tools. + Use computers for various tasks related to production. + Read and interpret tape measures accurately. + Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs consistently. Essential Skills + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. + Experience with general labor, assembly, and production tasks. + Ability to read a tape measure. + Experience in machine operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in assembly, construction, carpentry, or manufacturing settings. + Proficiency in using calipers and working with wood products. + Familiarity with blueprint reading and inspection processes. Work Environment The position requires working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM until the end of the shift, with the willingness to work every other Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role involves using various tools and equipment in a production facility where safety gear such as steel-toed shoes is mandatory. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northwood, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
