Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Specialist to join our team in Bethel, Connecticut. In this role, you will support one of our sister companies by managing daily transactional accounting functions and contributing to the organization's financial efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity to play a crucial part in maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth accounting operations in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Maintain detailed and organized financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance. u2022 Reconcile accounts regularly to verify balances and identify discrepancies. u2022 Assist with month-end closing tasks, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and monitor financial data effectively. u2022 Handle invoice processing, ensuring payments are issued and recorded properly. u2022 Support the implementation and improvement of accounting workflows. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and reporting. u2022 Address and resolve accounting issues and inquiries as they arise. u2022 Ensure adherence to industry-specific accounting standards and practices.
