Job Title: CNC Operator Job Description Join our team as a CNC Lathe Operator, where you will play a crucial role in precision machining operations utilizing high-performance CNC lathes. These machines are vital in manufacturing complex components, particularly for aerospace applications, and maintaining quality and efficiency is your primary mission. Responsibilities + Set up and operate CNC lathes. + Read and edit CNC programs. + Interpret blueprints and operation sheets. + Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to ensure quality standards. + Safely perform tasks related to maintaining, upgrading, and repairing CNC machinery. + Maintain clean and organized work areas. + Follow PPE protocols and safe work practices to minimize risk. + Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. + Identify facility maintenance needs and escalate unresolved issues. + Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical malfunctions. Essential Skills + CNC operation experience. + Lathe operation proficiency. + Ability to interpret blueprints. + Experience with CNC lathes and machining. + Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers. + Experience with Haas and Mazak machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior experience operating CNC lathe machinery. + Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently. + Solid understanding of mathematics and mechanical principles. + Proficiency with software and computer systems.
