Material Handler

Job Title: Material Handler Job Description As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving materials from the warehouse to the fabrication line and from the fabrication line to assembly. You will ensure the cleanliness and proper stocking of inventory in the warehouse, maintain organization of shelves, pallet areas, and workstations, and conduct cycle counts of inventory. Your role will also involve loading assembly carts with the correct parts and ensuring parts match the blueprint specifications. Additionally, you will assist with assembling kits as needed and operate a forklift and other tools as required. Responsibilities + Efficiently move materials between warehouse, fabrication, and assembly areas. + Ensure cleanliness and organization of shelves, pallet areas, and workstations. + Load assembly carts with the correct number and types of parts. + Verify parts against blueprints for accuracy. + Conduct cycle counts of inventory. + Assist in assembling kits as required. + Operate a forklift, hand tools, and power tools safely. + Inspect equipment to ensure safe working conditions. + Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. + Pack, label, and tag inventory properly. + Maintain professional and respectful relationships with customers. + Comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations. + Assist team members and perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Experience in forklift operation and material handling. + Ability to maintain organized inventory and conduct cycle counts. + Skill in using hand and power tools. + Experience working in a warehouse environment. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with loading and unloading pallets of metal products. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. + Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kindred, ND.
