On our facilities team, your job will be to create a comfortable and safe environment — just like our patients have come to expect.You’llgain experience working on a wide range of projects and HVAC systems throughout our facilities, train with the newesttechnology,and receive guidance from fellow caregivers and management.A caregiver in this positionworksvariable shifts, 7:00am - 3:30pm atMain Campus, downtown Cleveland, withrotating weekends andholidayrequirements.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Inspect, repair, monitor,maintainand troubleshoot Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment throughout the facility.Document andmaintainrecords of inspections and work spect andmaintainall temperature, humidity, and data logging devices, including meters and gauges.Utilize the building management system (BMS) to address customer service requests, adjust temperature set points, and start and stop equipment.Receive and respond to work orders from the computerized maintenance management system.Respond to alarms and alerts appropriately.Work atadditionalCleveland Clinic locations as needed.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:HighSchoolDiploma or GEDValidDriver’sLicense(VDL)and insurable driving recordThree years of experience with chiller systems, reheat systems, variable frequency drives (VFD), air handling units (AHU), humidifiers, dampers, heating and cooling coils, cooling towers and/or pumps OR military experience as a UtilitiesMan (UT), Machinists Mate (MM), HVAC/R (3E1X1), Utilities Equipment Repairer (91C) or a similar roleUnderstanding of the tools and techniques used tomaintain,diagnoseand repair HVAC systemsBasic knowledge of building management systemsAbility to read blueprintsPhysical Requirements:Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periodsAbility to be mobile for extended periods of timeAbility to communicate and exchange accurate informationAbility to move/transport items weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)Ability to move/transport equipment weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)Ability to move/transport carts weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)Ability to inspect equipmentAbility to install, repair and maintain systems, equipment, fixtures and/or structuresAbility to distinguish colorAbility to climb ladders ​Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $22.85Maximum hourly: $34.85The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
