What does a Departmental Specialist do for us? Under minimum direction and acting on their own initiative, the Departmental Specialist provides complex, specialized administrative and operational support to the Fleet Operations Department. Duties include: + Maintaining and updating fleet registration, licensing, and permitting records for company vehicles and equipment + Coordinating renewals for state and federal compliance requirements + Maintaining and auditing Fleet Information Management Systems (FIMS) + Researching, compiling, validating, and analyzing fleet-related data for reports and studies + Supporting compliance efforts by maintaining documentation associated with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations + Performing work of a confidential nature, requiring knowledge of fleet operations practices, company policies, and departmental procedures In addition to the meaningful work we do, we offer work-life balance, competitive pay and benefits, an employee incentive plan, and both a 401k employer-match and a pension plan, making Idaho Power one of the best employers in the state.
