Performs related duties as assigned, with a focus on refrigeration maintenance and machine repair.Duties Include but are not limited to:Perform advanced preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, refrigeration systems, and facility infrastructureTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues, including PLC-controlled equipmentMaintain and service food processing equipment such as washers, peelers, dicing and slicing machines, juice extraction, and bottling systemsMaintain refrigeration systems, coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, and work with outside refrigeration contractors as neededInstall, modify, fabricate, and repair mechanical components, piping, structures, and equipment using appropriate materials and toolsConduct electrical installations, repairs, testing, and maintenance of equipment, controls, and facility systemsRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns to restore functionality and minimize production downtimeProactively manage preventive maintenance (PM) programs using CMMS, including scheduling, work order completion, and documentationTrack labor hours, parts, materials, and maintenance activities accurately within CMMS and maintenance logsPurchase supplies, tools, and materials necessary to complete maintenance and repair projectsPerform general construction, building repairs, and preventative facility maintenance as requiredConduct regular safety inspections, shift rounds, and system performance checks to identify and address potential issuesOperate company vehicles, stationary machinery, and a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing instruments safelyLead, train, and provide technical guidance to Maintenance Technicians and other assigned personnelSupport in-house projects and complete non-maintenance work requests as assignedPerform other related duties consistent with the scope of the positionQualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial setting.Current valid driver's license
