No matter where you are or how you express yourself, itu2019s always the fastest way to share a moment Weu2019re looking for an Electrical Engineering Lab Specialist to join the Spectacles team What youu2019ll do: + Perform functional testing on circuit board assemblies and electronic units following defined procedures. + Debug, diagnose, and thoroughly document electronic issues + Communicate data and findings effectively to engineering personnel and management. + Support engineering teams on development of prototypes + Manage the procurement of necessary support materials for engineering teams, including test equipment and various electrical and mechanical components. + Execute rework tasks on electrical boards and perform component soldering. + Maintain accurate and organized documentation using Google Workspace productivity tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). + Ensure the lab is well-organized, clean, safe, and fully equipped to facilitate consumer electronics design and debugging activities. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: + Understand how to read electrical schematics and use manufacturersu2019 product data sheets + Ability to solder small discrete SMT components such as 0402s, 0201s and 01005s + Operate standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, power supplies, and digital multimeters independently. + Familiarity with linux tools command line, flashing firmware, troubleshoot down to component level + Familiarity with reading schematics Minimum Qualifications: + 3+ years of related lab experience + Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 15%) Preferred Qualifications: + Associates and/or Bachelors degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering + 5+ years of related lab experience + Experience with overseas manufacturing + Familiarity with low power/battery operated designs + Familiarity with PCB CAD tools such as OrCAD and Allegro + Great interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across groups + Excellent process development and documentation skills + A passion for Snapchat and creativity If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please donu2019t be shy and provide us some information (.
