Xylem is hiring a Channel Sales Rep The Channel Management Sales Representative supports Xylemu2019s Aquatics and Disinfection Solutions sales organization by assisting in the development, maintenance, and optimization of relationships with channel partners, distributors, and dealers within the water industry. This role helps promote and support products and services used in aquatics, pools, and disinfection applications. Responsibilities include assisting with partner onboarding, conducting market and channel research, maintaining accurate sales and partner records, and collaborating with senior sales and channel managers. The Channel Sales Representative works closely with internal teams to help ensure channel sales objectives are met and partner needs are supported efficiently. Responsibilities: Customer Service: u2022 Answering customer inquiries and providing product information u2022 Assisting with product selection and recommending alternative options u2022 Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely manner u2022 Maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention Sales Support: u2022 Assisting sales team with administrative tasks and follow-ups u2022 Creating and maintaining customer accounts in the system u2022 Managing customer orders and ensuring timely delivery u2022 Providing support for sales promotions and special offers Data Entry: u2022 Accurately entering customer and order information into the system u2022 Updating and maintaining customer and product databases u2022 Ensuring data integrity and consistency in all entries u2022 Generating reports and analyzing data for sales and inventory purposes Order Processing: u2022 Processing customer orders and verifying accuracy of information u2022 Coordinating with warehouse and shipping departments to fulfill orders u2022 Tracking and monitoring order status to ensure timely delivery u2022 Resolving any issues or delays related to order processing Inventory Management: u2022 Maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking stock levels u2022 Monitoring and reporting on inventory levels to sales and management teams u2022 Assisting with inventory counts and audits u2022 Identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels Reporting and Documentation: u2022 Compiling and analyzing sales data to generate reports for management u2022 Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions u2022 Documenting any changes or updates to customer accounts or orders u2022 Providing regular updates and communication to sales and management teams Communication and Coordination: u2022 Collaborating with various departments, such as sales, marketing, and logistics u2022 Communicating any issues or concerns with orders or inventory to relevant teams u2022 Coordinating with external vendors and suppliers for product availability and delivery u2022 Responding to and resolving any customer or internal inquiries in a timely manner. Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. u2022 Basic understanding of sales principles and practices. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 plus sales incentives. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
