CBRE Full Spectrum Lab Servicesprovides end to end scientific support for clients across life sciences,manufacturing, and other industries. We partner with pharmaceutical and biotechcompanies, healthcare, food and beverage producers, automotive and toolinginnovators, and both contract research organizations (CROs) and contractmanufacturing organizations (CMOs) to keep their operations running at peakperformance. About the Role: As a CBRE Laboratory Instrument Services Sr. Technician, youwill calibrate, maintain, and complete the major repairs of scientificinstrumentation. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services jobfunction. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in criticalclient environments. What Youu2019ll Do: + Perform routine maintenance, repair, andcalibration on a variety of laboratory equipment, that may include HPLC/UPLCsystems, LCMS systems, gas chromatographs, incubators, centrifuge, balances,and microscope. + Provide daily support services to ensure openaccess LCMS instrument are ready for operation + Operate test equipment. This includesmultimeters, temperature standards, optical standards and liquid flow meters. + Coordinate the removal of equipment requiringextensive repairs during scheduled maintenance periods. + Troubleshoot, service or resolve problems whileperforming unscheduled work. + Record and report abnormal functions orout-of-tolerance conditions of equipment. If needed, start corrective actionand documentation. + Review and document daily records ofinspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed. + Coordinate with external contractors on repairscovered by maintenance agreements. Communicate with customer staff and outsidecontractors about the calibration, repair, and operation of equipment. + Locate part sources, estimate costs, and preparerequisitions. + Track instrument and part reliability; makealternate service, supplier, and parts recommendations. + Oversee the development of equipment,maintenance, and calibration procedures. + Have some knowledge of standard principles withlimited practical experience in applying them. + Lead by example and model behaviors that areconsistent with CBRE RISE values. + Impact the quality of own work. + Work within standardized procedures andpractices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. + Exchange straightforward information, askquestions, and check for understanding. What Youu2019ll Need: + High School Diploma, GED, or trade schooldiploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, acombination of experience and education will be considered. + Must have appropriate license or certificationwhere required by law. + Requires knowledge, training, and experiencerelated to analytical instrumentation to include HPLC/UPLC systems, gaschromatographs, LCMS systems + Meet the physical requirements of this roleincluding stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the abilityto lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Ability to use existing procedures to solvestandard problems. + Experience with analyzing information andstandard practices to make judgments. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Organizational skills with a strong inquisitivemindset. + Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculatedifficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-relatedcalculations. Why CBRE? The minimum salary for the Client Services Coordinator position is $28.85per hour and the maximum salary for the Client Services Coordinator position is $31.25 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidateu2019s skills, qualifications, and experience.
