This roleu00a0is responsible foru00a0capturing, producing, editing, and publishing video content that supports external communications, stakeholder engagement, and program awareness initiatives.u00a0 Working closely with communications leadership, social media staff, and graphic designers, the Videographer develops high-quality video products, prepares supporting materials for digital platforms, and ensures multimedia assets are delivered in compliance with accessibility and branding standards.u00a0 Video products produced through this role support a range of communications activities including educational content, program storytelling, interviews, stakeholder engagement, and digital campaigns.u00a0 Key Responsibilities includeu00a0(but are not limited to):u00a0u00a0 + Capture, produce, and edit video content supporting communications campaigns, digital storytelling, stakeholder outreach, and program initiativesu00a0 + Film interviews, events, and program activities; collaborate with communications staff to develop video concepts, scripts, storyboards, and interview questionsu00a0 + Edit andu00a0finalizeu00a0video products for distribution across digital platforms, including YouTube and social media channelsu00a0 + Produce short-form video and motion graphics for social media and other digital communications initiativesu00a0 + Prepare video captions, transcripts, and accessibility featuresu00a0in accordance withu00a0Section 508 and program accessibility standardsu00a0 + Support podcast production by staffing recordings, capturing audio/video as needed, editing audio, and preparing supporting materials for publicationu00a0 + Upload and manage multimedia content across digital platforms, preparing captions, descriptions, and metadata for distributionu00a0 + Develop supporting visual assets such as thumbnails, graphics, and overlays while ensuring alignment with program branding and messaging guidanceu00a0 + Coordinate with communications, social media, and program teams to align multimedia content with editorial calendars and communications prioritiesu00a0 + Maintain and organize multimedia files, raw footage, and final products within approved digital asset management and records management systemsu00a0 + Support multimedia execution for communications campaigns, events, blogs, reports, and other digital content initiativesu00a0 + Manage multiple multimedia deliverables and production timelines in coordination with the communications teamu00a0 + Carry out ouru00a0Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thriveu00a0 Location:u00a0 You will work as part of a primarily remote team, with occasional in-person meetings at headquarters locations in Washington, DC; Reston, VA; Arlington, VA; or Boulder, CO.u00a0 Required Experience/Skills:u00a0u00a0 + Bacheloru2019s degreeu00a0in communications, film production, multimedia production, digital media, or a related fieldu00a0 + 1-4u00a0years of professional experience in videography, video production, or digital multimedia content developmentu00a0 + Demonstrated experience filming and editing professional video content for digital platformsu00a0 + Proficiencyu00a0with video editing and multimedia production tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related Adobe Creative Suite applicationsu00a0 + Experience producing captioned and accessible video content that meets Section 508 accessibility standardsu00a0 + Experience publishing video content across digital platforms such as YouTube and social media channelsu00a0 + Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent video projectsu00a0 + Strong communicationu00a0skills and ability to collaborate with communications and stakeholder engagement teamsu00a0 + US citizenshipu00a0or permanent residentu00a0and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitabilityu00a0 Preferred Experience/Skills:u00a0 + Experience supporting federal government or public sector communications initiativesu00a0 + Experience producing multimedia storytelling content for outreach, education, or advocacy programsu00a0 + Experience capturing interviews or documentary-style storytelling contentu00a0 + Experience supporting podcast or audio production workflowsu00a0 + Familiarity with digital asset management platforms and records management systemsu00a0 + Experience developing motion graphics or short-form social media video contentu00a0 Donu2019tu00a0think you have everything for this role but are stillu00a0very interested?
