Job Category Engineering Division Intralox Job Description (General Summary) We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineer with strong technical writing and documentation skills to support integrated systems and equipment projects for our largest customers. This role bridges the gap between control systems and software engineering and technical documentation by ensuring software systems, test plans, and procedures are clearly documented, accurate, and compliant with customer standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading and interpreting code, working with different software systems, and translating complex technical concepts into clear, structured documentation. Job Responsibilities and Requirements Responsibilities: u00b7 Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation for Integrated systems and equipment software systems, including Software Requirements Specification, Requirements Traceability Matrix, Software Master Test Plan, Software configuration Management plans and others. u00b7 Create and execute system and software test plans, test cases, and test procedures to verify software functionality and ensure compliance with customer requirements. u00b7 Collaborate with development engineers and program managers to gather and clarify technical information. u00b7 Review and analyze source code, software designs, and system designs to ensure documentation accurately reflects system behavior and architecture. u00b7 Support software changes and compliance reviews through well-prepared documentation packages. u00b7 Maintain configuration control of all technical documents and test artifacts. u00b7 Provide cross-team support by identifying gaps in documentation and suggesting improvements. Required: u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering u00b7 3+ years' experience in engineering or industrial automation u00b7 Ability to read and interpret PLC code and engineering drawings u00b7 Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts. Preferred: u00b7 Experience supporting government or defense contracts with knowledge of compliance and security standards. u00b7 Familiarity with DoD or government documentation standards (e.g., MIL-STD, IEEE). u00b7 Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, software, systems engineering). u00b7 Experience working with software development lifecycle, version control systems (e.g., Git), and defect tracking tools.
