This position is based in the greater Charlotte, NC area. Relocation assistance will be offered. The expected annual salary range for this role is $69,000 - $101,000 a year. Qualifications: This role could be the next step in your career if you demonstrate the following experience: u2022 High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. u2022 Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience including relevant coursework and internship experience. u2022 Posses and maintain a valid and unrestricted State Driver's license. u2022 Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements as needed, which may include, but is not limited to, periodic background checks and drug screenings. u2022 Daily travel to customer sites is required, utilizing an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle. u2022 Provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter. u2022 Must perform physical tasks as needed, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following: u2022 Associateu2019s degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution, current enrollment in a bacheloru2019s degree engineering program at an accredited institution or applicable military training and experience. u2022 Three (3)+ years experience working with power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics. u2022 Electrical Technology Certificate. u2022 Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques. u2022 Strong understanding of electrical theory, battery systems, and single- and three-phase circuits. u2022 Strictly follow company/customer safety rules for a secure work environment. u2022 Collaborate with Field Service Technicians, taking direction from on-site leads.
