What You Will Contribute: Reporting tothe Manager of Project Management Office, the Sr. Project Manager isprimarily responsible for the timely completion of development andindustrialization activities associated with assigned projects. Thisposition is responsible for project planning, project oversight,facilitation, and escalation of project issues and support of projectteam members across the organization. Additionally, this position hasthe responsibility of providing comprehensive project management supportincluding, but not limited to, the use of effective project managementtechniques in planning, coordinating and managing the accelerateddevelopment and industrialization of new products and major productmodifications in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain an effective product planning process toensure meeting a minimum 90% of company-defined target metrics relativeto product schedules, product and project costs. All items must be keptcurrent for the duration of the product development process. Abilityto lead a cross-functional team through 5-7 New Product Development(NPD) projects without a direct reporting structure from productconceptualization through release for sale in a high-volume productmanufacturing corporation. Ability to partner with cross-functionalteams to set and continually manage project expectations and communicateproject status with transparency. Ability to problem solve and ensureall project risks are proactively identified, documented or avoidedthroughout the lifecycle of a project. Responsible for drivingcross-functional team members through successful risk mitigation toolsand techniques to remove barriers to success and maintain originalproject release schedules. Proven track record of successfulcollaboration with all levels of the organization demonstrating superiorwritten and verbal skills. Provide updates to the Priority ProjectStatus Report on a monthly basis. Assist management by assessingfinancial viability of a product as well as mitigation of financialrisks (either associated with development or delays). Manage projectsto comply with requirements of the ISO 9008 Standard. Continuededucation in the latest project management techniques and remain on theforefront of business practices. Ability to lead hardware projects usingagile techniques. Lead Sprint Planning Sessions and Daily Stand-Upmeetings Develop & Maintain Project Burn Down Charts.
