This job is HYBRID.FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: TheDirector of Heart & Vascular (HV) Strategic Programs is responsible forthe overall management and optimization of HV clinical operations andoutcomes-focused programs across multiple Froedtert ThedaCare HealthSouth region entities. This includes direct oversight of heart &vascular ambulatory services (clinics), cardiopulmonary rehabilitation,echocardiography services, vascular ultrasound services, and the qualityand process improvement teams that support the HV service line. Servesas a liaison for the HV service line with South region ancillary andsupport services teams that may include Information Technology (IT),Quality, Data/Analytics, and Marketing. The Director leads programimplementation, ensures compliance with CMS and Joint Commissionrequirements, and has primary responsibility for quality and outcomessupport across the HV service line. This role develops and overseesquality assurance programs, integrates evidence-based practices, andmonitors outcomes to achieve system-wide standards of excellence. TheDirector also defines fiscal parameters, manages resources, and drivesservice line optimization plans that align financial sustainability withhigh-quality, patient-centered care. The position reports directly tothe Executive Director of the HV Service Line and maintains matrixaccountability to entity leaders for HV performance to meet local needs.The Director collaborates with health system executives, medical staff,HV teams, and other service lines to ensure program growth, operationalconsistency, and measurable improvements in quality and patientoutcomes. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Five years of management experience ina complex academic or community medical center environment withdemonstrated ability in new program implementation, process and changemanagement. Experience with or oversight of quality data registriesoperations, preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Master's degree inHealthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, Management,Organizational Leadership, Education, Business, or health sciencesrelated field is required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Detailedknowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation, TJC certificationprograms, as well as payor and employer organization initiatives.Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication.Must be familiar with issues and operations of a multidisciplinaryservice line operations regarding internal and external (includinggovernmental) functions.
