Software Engineer

Description We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will specialize in developing and maintaining software solutions for advanced testing equipment, including dynamometer facilities and emissions measurement systems. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with customers and suppliers on technical challenges while contributing to innovative engineering projects. Responsibilities: u2022 Design and maintain LabView-based software to control dynamometer facilities and related testing equipment. u2022 Conduct engineering analysis to support the development of new test equipment, including systems involving fluid dynamics and heat transfer. u2022 Provide technical assistance with emissions measurement tools such as emissions benches and dilution tunnels. u2022 Engage with customers and suppliers to address technical inquiries and ensure project requirements are met. u2022 Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables within established timelines. u2022 Maintain attention to detail in programming and analysis tasks to ensure accuracy and reliability. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and meet testing compliance standards. Requirements u2022 A minimum of five years of relevant experience in software development or engineering. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in LabView programming is essential. u2022 Familiarity with dynamometer test facility operations is preferred. u2022 Understanding of emission certification procedures and equipment requirements, particularly Federal 1065 testing standards, is a plus. u2022 Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with strong organizational skills. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Experience with programming languages and frameworks such as C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and React.js.
