Job Title: Aircraft Electrician If interested please call kenna at 8 4 3 9 7 2 1 8 8 6 Job Description As an Aircraft Electrician, you will be responsible for performing avionics troubleshooting, installations, repairs, maintenance, and modifications to the avionics and electrical systems of F/A-18 aircraft. Your role will include upgrades to the Radar Package, Communications/Comm Sec equipment, and other potential enhancements. Responsibilities + Conduct avionics troubleshooting for F/A-18 aircraft. + Install and repair avionics and electrical systems. + Perform maintenance and modifications on aircraft electrical systems. + Execute upgrades to Radar Package and Communications/Comm Sec equipment. + Work with fiber optic cables and installations. + Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring harnesses. Essential Skills + 4 - 7 years of depot/heavy maintenance experience on aircraft electrical systems. + Experience with F-18 aircraft is highly preferred. + Knowledge of Avionics systems and installation. + Expertise in operational-level maintenance (O-Level Maintenance). + Eligibility for SECRET clearance. + Must be eligible for Boeing badge (no terminations on record with Boeing). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Navy Ratings of AE or AT are highly preferred. + Experience with Fighter Jets is preferred. + NAV - Magic Box experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position requires flexibility to work on either 1st or 2nd shift. You will primarily work inside a hangar, with some tasks on the flightline. The hangar is non-climate controlled, but you will not be exposed to outside elements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
