JOB REQUIREMENTS: SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an experiencedAssistant Project Manager in our Data Center Solutions Group to partnerwith the project manager from bid preparation through final clientacceptance. You will also lead, coach, and mentor project team members.Strong communication skills are necessary as you will interact with avariety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Yourability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with ahigh level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success inthis role. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform cost control and financialmanagement Work with Preconstruction on project estimate and scheduleCoordinate scopes of work Review and compile pay applications, changerequests, and other project financial documentation Partner with theProject Manager or Construction Executive Draft client proposalsContract administration and management Award subcontracts Providedirection to the project team for safe and timely project completion Actas liaison for project engineers, mentor, and coach others Provide jobassignments and manage career development Direct responsibilities andguide Field Engineer(s) and Project Engineer(s) Manage subcontractorsand suppliers for the project Oversee budget for and makerecommendations for subcontractors and trade partners Lead projectbuyout with subcontractors and trade partners Facilitate and leadmeetings between subcontractors related to project coordination Otherduties as assigned, including: Perform on-site Project Manager duties onsmall scope projects Implement a quality plan that ensures thecustomer's specified performance criteria in design and constructionEffectively work and build relationships with those of diversebackgrounds and organizational levels Lead team members by example,offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manageperformance QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil,Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalentexperience Minimum five years of related previous experience Provenability to assist with all responsibilities for complex projects Detailorientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasksPossess basic understanding of construction law and generally acceptedbusiness practices Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent webapplication skills at an intermediate level Proven positive andprofessional attitude, and strong customer service skills Ability tointerpret and communicate Mortenson policies Current driver's license Afew benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working25+ hours / week) Medical and prescription drug plans that includes noadditional cost vision coverage Dental...
