Airport Visitor Services Representative

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Destination Madison is seeking a part-time AirportVisitor Services Representative to help represent the Madison area byproviding exceptional customer service to visitors at Dane CountyRegional Airport. The Airport Visitor Services Representative willinspire visitors to enjoy their stay in the Madison region by sharingknowledge of various attractions, events, and services availablethroughout Dane County. The successful candidate will bring strongorganizational skills and the ability to engage visitors as a positiverepresentative of our city and the organization's brand. This positionis expected to work approximately 4-8 hours per week, including up toone 4-hour Sunday shift per month. The desk is typically staffed from10:00am-6:00pm most weekdays and 11:00am 3:00pm on Sundays. EssentialFunctions & Responsibilities Actively engage with and assist visitorsseeking information about their visit to the Madison area, using theDestination Madison website and other online resources as necessaryServe as the first point of contact to travelers requiring assistancewith airport services or ground transportation Obtain, track, and entervisitor inquiry data Provide project support and administrativeassistance as assigned Participate in Visitor Services staff meetingsand educational opportunities Maintain comprehensive knowledge ofDestination Madison partners, literature, and websites OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with Madison areaattractions, amenities and major events Proficient with internetbrowsers, Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook and Word, tablets Basiccomputer troubleshooting skills Self-motivated with an engaging andfriendly personality Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online:Other: The work environment and jobspecifications listed below are representative of those that must be metby an employee, with or without reasonable accommodation, tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job.
