This position is responsible for overseeing thedaily functions of the Field Services and Booths/Dispatch units,ensuring smooth, efficient, and customer-focused operations. Thisleadership role emphasizes employee engagement, coaching, andperformance development to foster a positive and productive workenvironment. Key responsibilities include Managing the operationalaspects of the department's EV charging program and supporting variousstrategic initiatives Maintaining 24/7 coverage of the dispatch officeto provide timely assistance to both customers and staff Ensuringconsistent staffing and service at hospital garage cashier booths Servesas a primary liaison with key campus and community partners (includingthe UW Police Department, City of Madison Parking, and UW Health) tosupport coordinated and effective parking operations across theuniversity. Oversees recruitment, performance management, and trainingfor assigned units, ensuring staff are supported and welldeveloped.Leads efforts to streamline workflows and reduce staffing gaps tomaintain consistent service levels Directly supervises two managers andprovides support to frontline and supervisory staff across all shifts,including days, nights, and weekends. This position serves as a peer tothe Assistant Director of Administrative Services and the AssistantDirector of Parking Technology within Transportation Services.Ongoing/Renewable Full-Time: 100% FTE Hours generally scheduled onsiteMonday through Friday (9:00am - 6:00pm).
