The department offers undergraduate majors of study including Biology (B.A./B.S.), Molecular Biology (B.S./B.S.), Ecology, and BioDiversity (B.A./B.S.) Physiology of Health and Disease (BS) and Integrated Sciences (B.A.). A concentration in Cognitive Neurosciences (B.A./B.S.) is also offered in conjunction with the Department of Psychology. At the graduate level, the department offers M.S. and Ph.D. with a research emphasis in either cell and molecular biology or ecology and biodiversity. A professional science masters (PSM) in Biomedical Sciences and a Masters in clinical exercise physiology are offered.Position SummaryThe Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Denver invites applications for Visiting Teaching Assistant Professor position (non-tenure track) for the academic year 2026-2027 beginning September 1, 2026. The position will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Human Anatomy and Physiology. Specific courses include upper level courses in human anatomy and physiology, and possibly nutritional physiology and an introductory course, Physiological Systems.
