Description The Global Cloud Engineering Leader will be responsible for the overall technical direction for Cloud hosting and automation tools for the company. This role will lead onshore and offshore cloud build and automation resources who are responsible for having a deep understanding of our business strategy, and the creation of a technical capability that enables and accelerates business goals through rapid deployment and scalability of new features and functionalities. u2022 Lead teamu2019s Cloud Engineering and DevOps implementations and practices as it relates to Azure Cloud Environments and support, application deployments, site reliability and disaster recovery u2022 Understanding the responsibility, requirements, and efforts to ensure appropriate and required Cyber methodologies in how work is performed and compliance for all areas of responsibility u2022 Driving Cyber and Compliance as a culture as well as a functional requirement u2022 Translate design decisions, architecture designs to code for continuous deployment and repeatability u2022 Establish enterprise-wide cloud standards and associated documentation (naming, tagging, build etc..) u2022 Establish Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) culture and principles to track and measure health, uptime, availability and performance u2022 Oversite of daily run work, and overall reduction of technical debt u2022 Responsible for redundancy and resiliency of all cloud environments globally u2022 Ensures Engineering team leverages the latest DevOps and Cloud automation tools such as ARM Templates, PowerShell, Terraform, Python and Azure DevOps u2022 Strong dedication to high quality and standards for your teamu2019s execution u2022 Not afraid to jump in with the team to help resolve problems and remove blockers in a timely manner. u2022 Collaborate with other teams on automation strategy and best practices u2022 Create and document low-level designs, as built and standards u2022 Collaborate with Solution architecture, Platform engineering, Cyber and Product teams for delivering requirements as defined u2022 Work within a project management/agile scrum teams in a leading role as part of a wider team u2022 Utilizes Agile and DevOps Processes and Principles, Crafts CI/CD pipelines; converting builds to use native Azure build pipelines u2022 Work with the release management team and engineering teams to enhance skills and practices u2022 Design and maintain automation processes and ensure that all things that should be automated, are automated responsibly with Security, Governance and compliance validations. u2022 Work with Leadership to develop effective IT solutions based on business needs, issues and drivers. u2022 Assist with IT strategies to achieve productivity, stability and resilience. u2022 Prioritize, plan, scope and manage IT projects. u2022 Approve/initiate change requests, project proposals and maintain architecture and process documentation u2022 Ensure team adheres to disaster recovery and compliance testing schedules through the year u2022 Assist in preparing project budgets and schedules. u2022 Assist in business reengineering efforts and recommend new technologies to meet business demands. u2022 Monitor project execution to ensure on-time delivery. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
