Banner Health Estrella Medical Center is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join our 48 bed Observation Unit where you will have the opportunity to float to Medical Surgical, PCU, ICU and ED as needed . The Observation Unit serves patients with medically complex needs. As our Patient Care Assistant, you will get to work in a fun place with a strong, cohesive team that are close and who work together to impact their own environment. You will provide routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall plan of care. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation of medical records, and provide a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department. You will be a valued member of our team and be a part of a strong team collaboration. + Part-time shifts available from 6:00pm - 6:30am + You can utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. There are no set days you can be scheduled each week + Weekend and holiday Rotations are required in this role. + Enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-Night Shift differential when applicable Your pay and benefits are important components of your journey at Banner Health.
