Position: Sr. Engineering Manager - Transportation Location: Springfield, IL Job Id: 3292 # of Openings: 1 Farnsworth Group is seeking a technically focused Sr. Engineering Manager in the posting locations below. In this role, you will provide engineering, staff support, and QC/QA services for transportation roadway and street projects. Services are for local, statewide, and nationwide clients in the support of multiple planning and design projects. Posting Locations for this role: Belleville, Champaign, Effingham, Lisle, Normal, Peoria, Pontiac, Springfield, Tinley Park, IL; Remote What Youu2019ll Do: + Engineer, support, and provide QC/QA for projects related to transportation planning and design + Develop and mentor staff + Collaborate with other disciplines + Develop and maintain Client Relations + Establish and maintain budgets and schedules + Work in partnership with leadership and other team members throughout the Transportation Group and Company What Youu2019ll Need: + Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program + 15+ years of transportation experience with diverse project experience + Licensed Illinois Professional Engineer (PE) + Experience working on and with IDOT, County, and Local Agency projects + Proven leadership skills with engineering staff + Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment + Ability to effectively manage clients and deliver successful projects + Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously + Working experience with Microsoft Office and knowledge of MicroStation, CONNECT, and ORD.
