JOB REQUIREMENTS: Operates company vehicles and provide courteous andefficient delivery and pick up of packages; to check shipments forconformance to FedEx features of service; Provides coverage for allassigned routes within the station's service area; Provides relatedcustomer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned. PM SwingPosition - Primary M-F 1300 - 2130, but could scheduled for Saturdaybased on station needs Minimum Education High school diploma/GED.Minimum Experience Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must beable to demonstrate area knowledge. Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledgeof the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills inadaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Must be atleast 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English languagesufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with trafficsafety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions inaccordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance. Job Conditions Neatappearance since customer contact is required. Must meet and maintainthe qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safetyregulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAAregulations. Note: there are specific requirements for any employee thatoperates a company vehicle. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license inaccordance with your state requirements for type of vehicle assigned andhave good driving record as outlined in policy. Preferred Qualifications: PayTransparency: Pay: $23.42 per hour PLUS $2.00 per hour pay premium forall hours worked. Additional Details: Monday - Friday 1:20pm-8:30pm -Some Saturdays may be required.
