With no outside shareholders, decisions are guided by what's best for our people, our clients, and the communities we serve.We're seeking an experiencedAir Quality and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Specialistto support a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects. In this role, you'll prepare air quality and GHG analyses for CEQA and NEPA documentation, perform emissions modeling, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality environmental solutions.Qualifications:- Conduct emissions modeling and Health Risk Assessments utilizing CalEEMod, Excel, AERMOD, EMFAC, HARP, and OFFROAD.- Review emissions modeling analyses and provide QA/QC feedback for models developed in Excel, AERMOD, EMFAC, HARP, and OFFROAD.The Psomas Advantage:- Employee Ownership: 100% company-paid ESOP plus a 401(k) with immediate company match.- People First Culture: We value diverse perspectives, collaborative leadership, and a shared commitment to technical excellence and people development.- Hybrid Flexibility: A consistent 3/2 hybrid schedule that supports both collaboration and focused work.- Career Growth: Structured career pathing, leadership development, and internal coaching designed to support long-term growth into senior leadership.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Planning, or a related field.- 4-5 years of direct professional experience conducting air quality and greenhouse gas (GHG) analyses and assessments in compliance with CEQA and NEPA.- Strong analytical, computer, spreadsheet, and technical writing skills, with demonstrated proficiency in emissions modeling software for California development projects. Knowledge of state and federal air quality and climate change regulations and policies, including CEQA, NEPA, and the Clean Air Act.- Strong technical writing and analytical skillsCompensation and Benefits:- Salary: $70,000/yr - $110,000/yr (commensurate with experience)- Incentives: Discretionary bonus and recognition programs- Time Off: 3-4 weeks PTO plus 8 paid holidays (depending on experience)- Total Rewards: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family, along with employee ownership and retirement benefits.Our Hiring Approach: Our recruiting team reviews every application personally and will keep you informed throughout the process.
