The RN utilizes physicians, community resources, and the patient's support system ensuring that all care delivered meets agency standards and regulatory requirements.Job Description:Baptist Health is looking for a Home Infusion RN to join our team at Baptist Health Lexington Home Care, 2100 Nicholasville Rd, Lexington, KY4 days/32 hours per week, 9am - 5:30pm.Rotate on call holidays (Summer/Winter) with other RNs.Rotate weekend call with other RNs.- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, pharmacists, and case managers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Ensure timely communication and documentation of patient status and care provided.- Educate patients and their families on infusion procedures, medication administration, and how to manage potential side effects.- Provide guidance on maintaining a sterile environment and proper use of infusion equipment.- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, response to therapy, and overall progress.- Identify and report any adverse reactions or complications to the supervising physician.- Manage and maintain infusion supplies, equipment, and medications, ensuring that all are available and properly stored.- Coordinate with the pharmacy and suppliers to replenish inventory as needed.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medication logs.Minimum Requirements- Associates degree required, BSN degree preferred.- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.- 2 years of job-related experience.- Must have valid KY RN license.- BLS issued by American Heart Association or must obtain within 90 days of hire.- Infusion Nursing Certification (CRNI) is a plus. - Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.- Experience with central lines, PICC lines, ports and peripheral IVs preferred.Work ExperienceEducationIf you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply nowBaptist Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
