He/She willbe required to exercise sound professional judgment while providingprimary health care services to ambulatory patients within the specifiedpopulation serviced by the clinics. The family-oriented practiceembraces preventive, curative, chronic and health promotion toindividuals from infancy to old age and includes early stages of illnessto chronic disease and the promotion of wellness.Patient assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic measures will be carriedout in close association and collaboration with the PhysicianAssistants' supervising physician, clinic physicians, appropriatespecialists and health care agencies in the community. Appropriateinformation may be given to the patient and the family concerning thediagnosis and plans for therapy as part of this close collaboration.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Successful completion from an accredited Physician Assistant program.- Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of Idaho.- Current NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants.- Two (2) years of experience in primary care.# NURSE PRACTITIONERGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESThe Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an independently licensed practitionerbut also an interdependent member of the primary care team and willfunction within established plans outlined below. He/She will berequired to exercise sound professional clinical judgment whileproviding primary health care services to ambulatory patients (newbornto end of life patients, geriatric patients, women's health patients)within the specified population served by Terry Reilly clinics. TheNurse Practitioner practice embraces preventive care, acute and/orchronic illness and care and promotion of wellness for individuals frominfancy to old age depending on area of expertise and NP licensure.Patient assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic measures will be carriedout in close association and collaboration (when appropriate) withclinic Physicians, clinical care team members (such as RNs, ClinicalPharmacists, Behavioral Health Consultants, Counselors) appropriatespecialists and health care agencies in the community.
