Job Title: QA/QC Specialist CBRE DIRECTLINE, a CBRE Data Center Solutions business, is aleading technology infrastructure services provider enabling mission criticaldata center infrastructure for the worldu2019s technology leaders. About the Role The QualityAssurance/Quality Control Specialist is responsible for managing and performingthe daily QC responsibilities of specific CBRE Direct Line (DL) projects toensure the project is constructed in accordance with the established standards.The QA/QC role includes direct oversight and review of the entire project documentationand physical inspection phase of the workflow process, working with otherin-house personnel (e.g.: Project Managers, Superintendents, Lead Techs etc.)and external personnel to produce and document a quality product. What Youu2019ll Do u00b7 Safety is DL number one Core Value.Follow safe work practices and company and client worksite policies. u00b7 Promotes company Core Values tofoster and safeguard family-centric culture + Implement theQA/QC management system at site to include but not limited to Cable TrayRouting, Conduit Installs, Cable Management, Rack and Cabinet Placement, Port Accuracy,Copper and Fiber Test Validation and Asbuilts + Coordinatewith quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and vendors + Coordinatewith the customeru2019s representative on all quality matters + Coordinateall receipt inspections + Distributerelevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors if applicable + Verify thatthe quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codesand standards + Participatein the site internal and external site audits + Coordinateall the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors + Ensure allquality control documentation is compiled and competed for closeout handover + Control allnonconformance reports and undertake remedial action + Compete sitequality control instructions and action remedial responses + Review thecustomeru2019s specifications and undertake relevant training if needed + Monitor theimplementation of the approved site QC Plan + Complete andcoordinate the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the customer + Coordinatewith the site project manager on all quality issues + Coordinateand chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractoru2019s QCpersonnel + Elaboratinginspection and test programs + Assure alltechnical documents relative to site quality control are current What Youu2019ll Need + Strongleadership, communication, influencing and collaborative skills + Proficientin understanding Blueprints and Construction Documents + Exceptionalanalytical, problem-solving skills and decision making + Teamwork and versatility in integrating into multiple work environments + Abilityto work both independently as well as on teams + Demonstratedprofessionalism and ability to interact effectively with all levels ofemployees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others. + Ability to train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing,and scheduling work assignments. + Demonstrated team building and conflict resolution skills. + Ability towork under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positiveattitude. + oral andwritten communication and organizational skills,including excellent customer service skills. + Ability to present effectively to small and large groups. + Disciplined, detail oriented, organized, and thoroughself-starter. + Demonstrated skill in organizing resources and establishingpriorities. + Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems and issues. + Strategic planning skills. + Ability tounderstand and follow standard operating policies and procedures + Proficient inusing a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.) BluebeamRevu or CAD. Education: + Associateu2019sdegree in Construction Management, Project Management or 5 years equalexperience + BICSICertifications (Technician, RTPM, or DCDC) + BISCI RCDDpreferred Experience: + 5 plus yearsu2019field experience in working in Commercial Construction + 5 plus yearsu2019field experience in working with Data Center Structure Cabling (Copper andFiber) + 3 to 5 yearsu2019experience installing and testing Copper and Fiber + 1u20132 yearsu2019experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud + 1-2 yearsu2019experience with Bluebeam Revu or CAD Work Environment and Physical Demands The standard work environment for this position is an indoor/outdoorData Center and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or handtools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise levelin the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularlyrequired to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push,pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. Theemployee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularlylift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25pounds. The employee must regularlycarry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may berequired to work in tight, confided spaces. Theemployee must demonstrate regularand on-time attendance. The compensation is about $102,500 annual base salary with some potential flexibility based on experience.
