Weu2019re seeking a handsu2011on, dependable Maintenance Technician to help keep our facilities safe, welcoming, and fully operational. In this role, youu2019ll support the inspection, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our properties. Youu2019ll also help maintain interior and exterior building spacesu2014ensuring they remain clean, functional, and in good condition for our staff and the community we serve. As part of the essential functions of this role, the Maintenance Technician: u00b7 Understand assigned properties and review building operations, maintenance schedules, and equipment status. u00b7 Update and manage work orders in the maintenance system; work with Facilities staff to resolve delays. u00b7 Support preventative maintenance programs and maintain logs/inspection reports for lifeu2011safety equipment. u00b7 Perform routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance tasks as assigned. u00b7 Troubleshoot heating, cooling, and refrigeration issues; coordinate vendor repairs when needed. u00b7 Inspect buildings to ensure proper heating, lighting, ventilation, cleanliness, and overall condition. Qualified candidate will have a high school diploma, or equivalent, and one (1) year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC, three (3) years preferred. Candidate must be able to safely crawl, climb and lift at least 50lbs and have knowledge and safe performance practices in the use of relevant equipment and tools. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and decision-making skills and ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines essential. Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally. Familiarity with computers and MS Office software (Outlook, Word) preferred. A wareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential.
