Description We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join our Complex Litigation Department in Portland. Our team specializes in high-impact cases across various practice areas, including class actions, financial fraud, environmental law, and antitrust litigation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge legal work in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct in-depth legal research and draft detailed memoranda and complaints. u2022 Manage e-discovery processes, including document collection, coding, and production using tools like Relativity. u2022 Ensure accuracy in cite-checking and formatting legal documents to meet court standards. u2022 Track and manage discovery deadlines, ensuring compliance with case timelines. u2022 Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and drafting trial-related documents. u2022 Maintain effective communication with clients, co-counsel, and team members to address case needs. u2022 Coordinate case-related project management tasks, ensuring seamless workflow and task prioritization. u2022 Provide analytical support using Excel and PowerPoint to present case data and findings. u2022 Collaborate with the team to handle challenging situations with professionalism and discretion. u2022 Uphold confidentiality and ensure sensitive information is securely managed.
