Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our Accounts Payable and Procurement operations in Irvine, California. This role emphasizes process improvement, automation, and team leadership to ensure operational excellence. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will play a vital role in managing workflows, optimizing systems, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee Accounts Payable and Procurement processes, including purchase order matching, invoice management, and supplier master file maintenance. u2022 Lead and mentor a team of 6u20137 professionals, supporting their growth and development at various career stages. u2022 Manage account reconciliations related to accrued expenses and other organizational accounts. u2022 Drive system and workflow improvements to enhance automation and efficiency in AP/PO processes. u2022 Collaborate with departments such as IT, Real Estate, and Maintenance to ensure seamless AP and procurement operations. u2022 Participate in projects related to workflow rollouts and upcoming supply chain implementations. u2022 Maintain a balance between compliance requirements and a service-oriented approach to internal stakeholders. u2022 Support month-end close processes and contribute to financial reporting as necessary. u2022 Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders while promoting a culture of accountability and transparency. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, with a focus on Accounts Payable and Procurement. u2022 Proven skills in financial reporting, including SEC reporting and EPS analysis. u2022 Experience with annual and SEC financial reporting processes. u2022 Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and developing teams. u2022 Proficiency in implementing system and workflow automation to optimize operations. u2022 Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across departments. u2022 Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance. u2022 Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
