A leading client in seeking a Grants Financial Analyst. to work onsite in Newark NJ in a temp to perm role. Job details are below. Apply today for immediate consideration Title: Grants Financial Analyst Location: Newark NJ Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:00 pm Pay rate: $40/hr - $45/hr depending on experience Duties: Under the direction of the Director of Administration and Finance, the Grants Financial Analyst financial support with pre- and post-awards including grants, contracts, and various budget and finance functions on restricted and non-restricted accounts. Assists with short- and long-term planning and assists with financial projections and analysis. Develops and analyzes fiscal and administrative data. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As needed, handles departmental administration for pre- and post-award grant administration. Works on proposal submissions, effectively planning and scheduling activities that support the application process, and ensuring proposals are submitted to within the requested time frame. Prepares monthly reconciliations and projections for unrestricted accounts and restricted gift and grant accounts. Reviews and reconciles all expenditures for funding availability and appropriate programmatic support of departmentu2019s strategic mission and objectives. Prepares, reviews, and reconciles with accuracy all purchase orders, quotes, blanket orders, cash transmittals, journal entries, payroll, commitments, and other financial transactions and documents. Assists in the development and submission of the annual budget including monthly and forecasting reports as required. Responsible for special projects as assigned by the department. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: + Bacheloru2019s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience. + Previous experience with Grants and Finance required + Advanced Excel skills required. + Financial analysis at a Medical Center or Institute of Higher Education preferred. + Clinical Revenue experience would be a bonus.
