This job was posted by : For more information, please see: **Job Summary** The MIG Welder is responsible for assembling and welding steel components using Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding techniques. This position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, maintain precision during welds, and ensure all work meets established specifications and quality standards. Attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures are essential in this role. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform MIG welding on steel components - Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols - Set up and adjust welding equipment - Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards - Operate hand and power tools - Maintain a clean and safe work environment **Qualifications** - Previous MIG welding experience (steel fabrication preferred) - Ability to read technical drawings - Knowledge of welding safety standards - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work independently and in a team - AWS welding certification a plus **Work Environment:** - Workshop or fabrication shop setting. - Exposure to heat, sparks, and loud noise. - Use of protective equipment such as welding helmets, gloves, and respirators. - Ability to frequently lift materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of items exceeding 75 pounds. **Benefits** - Health, dental, and vision insurance - HSA and FSA options - Life insurance - Paid time off
