Description Leidos' Defense Sector seeks a Senior Strategy and Campaign Analyst to shape strategic direction, execute growth initiatives, and drive profitability across 8 business areas spanning mission hardware, software, integration, and services. This role is based at Leidos headquarters in Reston, Virginia, reporting to the Vice President of Strategy, Campaigns and Growth Operations and requires up to five days in office per week.Primary ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & AnalysisDevelop Defense Sector strategy aligned with corporate strategic planning processes to meet or exceed business goalsLead market analysis using internal analysts and external research to inform strategic decisionsMonitor market trends, customer priorities, and competitive positioning to identify growth opportunities and risksIdentify capability gaps and emerging technology opportunitiesGrowth & Partnership DevelopmentCollaborate with Business Area Growth, Office of Technology, and Corporate Strategy teams to cultivate strategic partnershipsSupport organic growth planning and opportunity developmentAssist with inorganic activities including M&A, divestitures, geographic expansions, and joint venturesExecutive Support & Project ManagementLead high-priority special projects with cross-functional coordination and executive-ready recommendationsDevelop compelling presentations that translate strategic, market, and financial analyses into actionable insightsSupport the Sector CFO during Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) processesAssist the Defense Sector Chief of Staff with ad hoc and quick-turn assignmentsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree with 6+ years)Previous experience in corporate/sector strategy, business strategy, finance/operations, or corporate development with a defense or technology companyStrong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesDemonstrated expertise in market research and financial analysisProven ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levelsProficiency in PowerPoint presentation development and Excel financial modelingA current Top Secret clearance, with the ability to attain an SCIPreferred QualificationsHighly motivated with strong multi-tasking abilities and excellent communication skillsAbility to gain internal support, work independently with limited supervision, and establish strong relationships with senior management and peersExpert-level proficiency in PowerPoint presentations, Excel pivot tables, and financial analysisAbility to work in-office up to five days per weekIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
