This leadership role partners closely with senior operations leadership and plays a key role in operational excellence, compliance, team development, and risk management.This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned banking professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and ensuring regulatory and operational integrity across branch environments.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations across multiple bank branches, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high service standardsLead and support branch management teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance managementMaintain and enhance branch procedures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirementsOversee onboarding and new account processes for consumer and business customers, including CIP/KYC complianceManage branch audits, certifications, cash controls, and remediation efforts as neededServe as a subject matter expert on deposit operations, fraud prevention, disputes, and risk managementPartner with senior leadership on operational improvements, metrics reporting, and strategic initiatives Lead or support system implementations, enhancements, and cross-functional projectsAct as a key point of contact for branch communications and vendor managementDirectly manage operational staff and provide oversight to branch leadership teamsConduct regular meetings focused on staff development, compliance, and operational performanceSupport HR-related functions including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and workforce planningFoster a collaborative, accountable, and service-driven culture across branch operationsQualifications10+ years of progressive banking experience, with strong exposure to branch and deposit operationsProven leadership experience managing teams and complex operational functionsStrong working knowledge of banking regulations, including BSA, AML, OFAC, and CIPExperience with deposit products, risk management, and fraud mitigationAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and lead through changeExcellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)Core banking system experience preferred (Fiserv/Premier a plus, not required)Interested in hearing more?
