Job Description TeamHealth has a new day shift hospitalist opening at St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA; staffed with IM/FM hospitalists and nocturnists, that are all local to Austin. Our physicians work a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule. St. David's North Austin Medical Center has 441 beds, open ICU (operates as closed), and our physicians are not required to do procedures. We our staffed with 7 day shift providers and 2 APCs (7a-7p), 1 swing physician (9a-9p) and 2 nocturnist physicians (7p-7a). During the day we average 21 total encounters per physician with each APC handling 4-6 admits. There is a rapid response team that handles codes even though you respond for your patient, full specialty support in place within the practice and the EMR is Meditech.
