As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team and site contacts. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.95 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, assistance with access control concerns, and timely notification to appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, lobbies, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, with working conditions varying by post assignment.Monitor and report security-related conditions such as unsecured doors, malfunctioning locks, blocked egress routes, and unusual activity, completing required logs and incident reports per site requirements.Support site operations by checking identification and/or visitor authorization as directed, assisting with wayfinding, and coordinating with staff during patient-related incidents and/or facility events.Minimum Requirements:Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.Meet hospital vaccine requirements.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
