Make an impact every single day: We are hiring Special Education Paraprofessionals in Lebanon County!About the Role:Paraprofessionals will support students with higher‑intensity needs in Emotional Support (ES) and Autistic Support (AS) classrooms. This includes providing behavioral, academic, and personal‑care assistance as part of each student’s individualized education plan. Location: Lancaster & Lebanon County, PA Schedule Options: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday (30‑minute unpaid break) 8:30 AM - 3:15 PM, Monday-Friday (30‑minute unpaid break) Grade Levels: Elementary, Middle, and High School Note: Candidate grade-level and shift preferences will be considered during placement. Key Responsibilities: Provide instructional support to individuals or small groups as directed by the classroom teacher. Support skill development in areas such as academics, behavior regulation, communication, self‑help, and motor skills. Ensure student safety and monitor for potential hazards. Assist with personal‑care needs, including toileting, diapering, feeding, hygiene, and clothing changes. Implement behavior support plans and apply positive behavioral intervention strategies. Assist with physical and mobility needs, including lifting, positioning, and use of braces or orthopedic equipment. Help prepare students for transitions to general education settings. Maintain documentation related to student progress as directed by the teacher. Support collaboration with case managers, behavioral specialists, and general education staff. Assist students in social interactions and peer engagement. Participate in required training, including instructional and medical‑related sessions. Perform other related duties as assigned. Candidate Requirements Experience supporting individuals with disabilities preferred. Must be comfortable with personal‑care tasks and behavior‑support responsibilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school staff.
