CT Tech CT Technologist - Pinckney, MI

This opportunity calls for a skilled CT Technologist with expertise in structural heart imaging and procedural experience. The role involves performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures under general supervision, primarily focusing on mid-shifts with flexible scheduling. Candidates must be Registered ARRT & CT certified.Key Responsibilities:Explain examination procedures and prepare patients accordingly.Review clinical data and gather additional patient history as needed.Prepare procedure rooms and maintain necessary supplies.Set up equipment and perform CT scans, manually controlling equipment to capture diagnostic images.Administer intravenous contrast media using power injectors; monitor and provide immediate care for any adverse reactions.Assist Radiologists during complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies.Apply radiation protection principles including patient shielding and ALARA techniques.Manage image quality by resolving exceptions and ensuring proper delivery into plete study indexing and documentation in the Radiology Information System.Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team following standards such as AIDET and maintaining open communication.Qualifications & Desired Experience:Registered ARRT & CT certification required.Proven structural heart imaging and procedural experience.Ability to work flexible schedules, primarily mid-shifts from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM.Location:Position is based in Pinckney, MI.
