Position OverviewA growing and well-established engineering and construction firm is seeking a Senior Wastewater Project Manager to take on leadership responsibilities with the opportunity to grow into a division leader/executive role. This is a high-impact position where the candidate will manage complex wastewater projects and gradually assume responsibility for the division’s operations, growth, and strategic direction.This is an ideal role for a proven project manager who wants to step into a leadership trajectory, eventually taking full ownership of the wastewater division and shaping its future.Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee wastewater projects from planning through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are metWork closely with clients, contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies to deliver projects efficiently and successfullyMentor and lead junior project managers and field personnelDevelop project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plansIdentify opportunities to improve division processes and project deliveryGrow into division-level responsibility, including oversight of multiple projects, business development, and eventual P&L managementServe as a visible leader in the division, building trust with clients and stakeholders Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience in wastewater, water treatment, or municipal infrastructure projectsProven ability to manage multiple projects and lead project teamsStrong knowledge of wastewater systems, construction methods, and environmental regulationsBachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) preferred, or EIT with significant project management experienceStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAmbition to grow into a division leadership/executive role What’s Included Performance-based bonus potentialHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysMentorship and career growth path to division leadership and executive-level responsibilitiesOpportunity to work with a reputable firm on complex, high-impact wastewater projects This position is ready to hire immediately.
