Wilson Country Club is seeking a Director of Tennis to join our team. The Director of Tennis position is hands on, member facing, and responsible for the day-to-day operations of the tennis facilities and programming. This position shall organize and direct all club tennis and pickleball offerings, activities, events, lessons, clinics, etc. Reporting Status: The Director of Tennis and Pickleball reports to the General Manager along with the company’s Corporate Director of Tennis.Full-time positions offer outstanding benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), paid time off, and a daily complimentary staff meal. The base salary for this positon will be between $40-$50K, along with a percenatage of lessons and clinics.Wilson Country Club is a McConnell Golf Property. To learn more about McConnell Golf, please visit www.mcconnellgolf.com.ResponsibilitiesThe scope of job duties for the Director of Tennis and Pickleball include but are not limited to the following:Tennis & Pickleball • Oversee the court and facility maintenance to keep courts in excellent playing condition on a consistent basis• Conduct or coordinate lessons and clinics• Coordinate, advertise, and execute special events & tournaments• Maintain and advertise court availability• Handle billing as appropriate• Hire and oversee assistant professionals and shop staff• Oversee operations of running a fully stocked and serviceable pro shopOther:• Provides quality service to all members and guests• Attends weekly Managers Meetings and other meetings as appropriate• Attends company training/seminar events as appropriate• Participates in the development of annual budget and adheres to said budget as approved by management and corporate office• Performs other tasks as appropriateQualifications4.5+ playing levelCertified teaching professionalUSD $60,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
