Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflightThis role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of experts, you will be responsible for cost estimating your area of expertise across all Blue Origin programs.Your efforts will support design-for-manufacture studies and inform supplier negotiations. You will be supporting cost-reduction ideas throughout the company. The duties will include the opportunity to shape the future of our estimating practices for decades to come.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is requiredQualifications:5+ years of direct experience estimating one or more of the following types of aerospace components: castings/forgings, aerospace structure, welding/joining, valves, tubing, avionics, harnessing, or composites.Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and ability to evaluate and analyze associated costsDemonstrated track record of success in Design for Manufacturability feedback for engineeringDesired:10+ years of estimating components for the space industryExperience developing complex estimating software tools/methodsExperience incorporating lessons learned from past estimates into future modelsStrong data analytics pensation Range for:WA applicants is $104,027.00 - $145,637.10Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
